2024 Independence Day Parade and Festivities |
Our Independence Day Parade Prestonwood Forest Residents of all ages are invited to ‘roll and stroll’ with everyone and everything decorated in the ‘red, white and blue’!
Residents are respectfully reminded not to park vehicles in the street along the parade route and lineup area – in order to facilitate the Parade (8 a.m. to noon). Street traffic, along the parade route, and around the Clubhouse, for After-Parade activities, will be temporarily blocked for everyone’s safety. After Parade ActivitiesJuly 4th ‘Picnic in the Park’ Prestonwood Forest Residents are invited to a traditional Independence Day picnic treat, courtesy of your Prestonwood Forest Utility District and Prestonwood Forest Maintenance Association. Please stop by the Park area in front of the Clubhouse Tennis Courts for your favorite hot dog, along with chips and beverage! Food services will conclude at 12:00 (or earlier if supplies are exhausted.) Fire Truck ‘Street Shower’Cypress Creek Fire Department - a most welcome extension of our Community and a long-time partner in Prestonwood’s activities provides our Prestonwood Forest children’s favorite ‘cool down’ – as it has for many years. Swimming Pools - Special Hours and ActivitiesFor pool access after the Parade, residents are reminded to pack their 'Recreation Access Cards', along with their swim gear - when coming to the Independence Day Activities!
